Scope
This statement covers the Eldem website and web application available at https://eldem.io.
Standard
We are working toward conformance with Israeli Standard IS 5568 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA. IS 5568 is based on WCAG 2.1 and constitutes the legal digital accessibility requirement in Israel.
Measures taken
- Automated accessibility linting is built into the development workflow (eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y)
- Semantic HTML elements and ARIA roles are used where appropriate
- Colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA (minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text)
- Keyboard navigation is supported for core platform functions
- Text labels are provided for images and functional icons
- Accessibility is considered in every product update
Known limitations
The following items were recorded in the 1 September 2026 accessibility review (A11Y-REPORT). Status is current as of this statement.
- Invoice create form labels (`/admin/invoices/new`) — inputs, selects, and line-item amounts lacked programmatic names for assistive technology. — Fixed (September 2026).
- Brand colour contrast — the previous primary brand colour did not meet WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1) for normal text. The current `#1565C0` / `--brand-text` tokens do. — Fixed (September 2026).
- Third-party widgets — the payment interface (Paddle) and the security challenge (Cloudflare Turnstile) are not fully within our control. We are evaluating more accessible alternatives.
- Manual and assistive-technology audit — a comprehensive third-party audit has not yet been conducted. Current testing is automated only.
- User-uploaded content — documents and PDF files uploaded by users are not processed by us for accessibility compliance.
